On September 4, 2026, a private preview of the exhibition «The Russian Museum in ZILART» was held.
Over 100 works from the collection of the State Russian Museum have arrived in Moscow for the first time: Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Joseph Beuys, Anselm Kiefer, Cy Twombly, Jeff Koons, Ilya Kabakov, Erik Bulatov, Viktor Pivovarov, and others. The collection reflects the main trends in art of the second half of the 20th century: American Pop Art and Hyperrealism, German Neo-Expressionism and GDR painting, Cuban and Latin American schools, Moscow Conceptualism, and Figurativism.
For a young private museum, hosting one of the world's outstanding art collections has become a particularly significant event. The «ZILART» Museum was opened in December 2025. Its founders – Andrey Molchanov, founder of the «LSR Group» company, and his wife Elizaveta – have been building their own private art collection for 25 years.
Anna Kolesnikova: «As an exhibition designer with extensive experience, I am always eager to discover new design solutions for exhibition spaces, to get acquainted with the curatorial work of my colleagues, to study the unique collection of the Russian Museum's treasury, and, of course, to exchange experiences with my fellow museum professionals, with whom I have been connected by many years of collaboration.»
