John the Theologian was the youngest of the apostles and the only one who, together with the Most Holy Mother of God, stood at the Cross during the Crucifixion of Christ. The Savior entrusted him with the care of His Mother, and, according to church tradition, the Apostle John remained with Her until Her Dormition, after which he departed for apostolic ministry in Asia Minor, in Ephesus.

In church tradition, he is called the "apostle of love," since the overarching theme of his theological legacy—the Gospel, the Epistles, and the Apocalypse—is the affirmation that "God is love" (1 John 4:8). The image of the Apostle John is perceived as an embodiment of heartfelt, active love, and prayers are offered to him for the strengthening of faith, the healing of the suffering, peace and sincere love within the family, as well as for reconciliation, forgiveness, and the granting of patience in relationships with loved ones and those around us.

«The Revelation of St. John the Theologian»
«And on His garment and on His thigh He has a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS»

Revelation, ch. 19, verse 16

How ruthlessly, cruelly, and stubbornly,
Blind to the majesty of sacred shrines,
We fall into the abyss, where the pit of hell
Drags the soul down to the darkness of barren wastes.
A wise heart, through the spirit of humility,
Illuminates the path into the eternal distance...
The purpose of the sufferings of the Cross –
The sorrow of the mortal sting is uprooted.
So help us wash our souls with repentance
From the poison of sin.
The Lord has the absolute right
To end earthly life devoid of love.

In their subjects, they convey the biblical tragedy of the eternal dissonance between two worlds—the heavenly and the earthly—intersecting at an invisible point with the substantive fabric of the verse.
The paintings are executed in the classical style.
